Most installations are completed within a few hours. We disconnect the old unit, install the new heat pump system, and commission it before we leave. You will have hot water running again the same day in most cases.
What happens on the day of the installation?
We arrive at the agreed time with the system and all required materials on board. We carry out the full installation, check everything is working correctly, and walk you through how to operate your new system before we go.
Do I need to do anything to prepare before the installer arrives?
Make sure there is clear access to your existing hot water system and the surrounding area. If the unit is in a cupboard or tight space, it helps to remove anything stored nearby. We will handle everything else from there.
What is included in the heat pump installation service?
We supply and install the heat pump unit, disconnect and remove your old system, and complete all required plumbing connections. We leave the work area tidy when we are done.
Is there a warranty on the installation work?
Yes, our installation work is covered by a labour warranty and the unit itself carries the manufacturer warranty. Ariston and iStore both offer solid product warranties, and correct installation by a licensed plumber is required to keep that warranty valid.
Can heat pump systems be installed in a small or enclosed space?
Heat pumps need adequate airflow to operate efficiently, so they are not suited to fully enclosed spaces. We assess your property before installation and advise on the best placement to get the most out of your system.
